What do you do for Home Truths?

I provide professional photography of the Home Truths properties, showing off the true potential of the homes that are available for sale.

Why do you think that people should come to Home Truths to sell or let their home?

Home Truths is a small, independent, family run business, offering professional property services delivered in person by a friendly team. Always with a smile!

When you're not working for Home Truths what do you do in your business?

Property photography keeps me busy most days so in my spare time I like to photograph people of all ages.

What do you love about living in the local area?

This area is in the middle of everything for both work and play. There are thriving cities like Preston, Manchester and Liverpool, within easy reach and we have the motorway network on our doorstep.

Throughout Rivington, the Trough of Bowland and beyond are so many reservoirs and water ways to explore. I love it!

Who would be your three dream dinner guests and why?

My first guest would be Anne Geddes as like no photographer before, she singularly captures the beauty, purity and vulnerability of children, embodying her deeply held belief that each and every child must be “protected, nurtured and loved”. Her work inspired me to teach people how to composite babies into flowers.

My second guest would be Anna Atkins, she is thought to be the first woman photographer but she was in actual fact a botanist who like to create cyanotypes of sea algae, which were so difficult to record accurately. She published several books on this topic before women were recognised in scientific circles.

My third would be Andrea Fidgett, she was the person responsible for the dietary needs of all the creatures belonging to Chester Zoo and has lately taken up a post in San Diego Zoo. Andrea went on an all-female scientific expedition recently, to Antarctica exploring the wildness, the habitat and survival challenges of the animals that live there.

Three very different women, from different eras, but coming together with a common aim. To promote the health and wellbeing of the inhabitants of our earth through nature, science and photography.
