Why did you join Home truths?
I have always been interested in anything and everything property related. Whether its interior design, renovations, new builds, listed building’s, or chocolate box cottages. My previous roles have been marketing and customer service based, so I jumped at the opportunity.
What do you do at Home Truths?
I plan our social media activity, manage our marketing plan, and investigate opportunities for business generation. My main goal is to ensure that Home Truths is the known estate agent in our area, we understand our customers and deliver service of the highest quality.
Why are you proud to work for Home Truths?
I feel privileged to work with such a professional and passionate team. Our focus is our customers, we really do walk with our customers through the process of buying and selling. We are so pleased when it all goes to plan and when things go off track, we do everything possible to steer things in the right direction. We build positive relationships with our customers. That is why we have so much repeat business.
Why should people come to Home Truths to sell their home?
As a family run business, we really take the time to understand the needs of their customers and go the extra mile to sell or let their homes, in a time frame that is comfortable for them. We listen to their customers and provide excellent advice and service.
How do you describe to friends and family what you do?
It is a real talking point as it is such an interesting profession! We get to meet new people and help them to find people their dream homes.
What makes you smile at work?
Vegas! Imogen’s dachshund. He is the only grumpy member of the team. He is a real character! There are so many little things that make a difference in each day, whether it is a morning brew or a catch up about the weekend. Its lovely to be part of the team.
What do you love about living in the local area?
We are surrounded by so many beautiful places to visit, country parks, reservoirs, wetlands, and beaches. If you fancy some retail therapy there is an abundance of quaint villages, towns, and cities. There really is something to meet everyone is needs, whether its sport, going out for dinner and drinks, going out for the day with the children or going to one of our fabulous country pubs for tea.
What do you do for fun?
I love the hustle and bustle of family gatherings. We have family over to stay for the weekend and have lots of family gatherings. Easter egg hunts, BBQ’s, afternoon tea. Spending time with my children playing cricket in the summer and most of all I like to unwind after a busy day with my husband, my boys and my dog with a nice glass of wine.
Who would your 3 Dinner guests be?
This is so hard! After much thought I’d say Roald Dahl, Julie Andrews, and Bill Murray. Growing up I absolutely loved Roald’s books and was fascinated by his life he such a brilliant author with an amazing imagination. Julie Andrews, she has had such an amazing life, the people she met and worked with as a young actress, I really enjoyed reading about her life, she is a true lady with so much talent. And Bill Murray, he is very funny, I imagine dinner with him would be one to remember.
