What do you do for Home Truths?
I’m the Home Truths PR and Marketing Consultant and I ensure that Home Truths is known as the estate agent for anyone looking to sell or let their home. I manage the social media activity, interview local businesses for the Home Truths Hub write property features for a range of national magazines and websites and create and implement exciting Home Truths community campaigns.
Why do you think that people should come to Home Truths to sell or let their home?
My work with Home Truths has shown me what a friendly, professional, and caring team they are. As a family business, they really take the time to understand their customers and go the extra mile to ensure that people sell or let their homes in a time scale that works for them. All the team live in the area and this comes through in the work they do, as they can match properties to buyers or tenants perfectly. If people are looking to sell or let their home, then they need to get in touch with Home Truths as they really are the best!
When you're not working for Home Truths what do you do in your business?
I run my own PR consultancy, ICE PR, where I work with a range of clients to raise awareness for their brand or business through a number of channels.
What do you love about living in the local area?
I love this area for so many reasons. The community spirit is amazing and the people are so friendly. We are so lucky that we are close to the coast, to stunning Cumbrian countryside and that we are only a short drive away from cosmopolitan cities like Liverpool and Manchester, too. The local cuisine can’t be beat either, especially chips and gravy and of course a traditional Lancashire hotpot.
Who would be your three dream dinner guests and why?
I think my dinner guests would be Bear Grylls, Marilyn Monroe and Peter Kaye. Peter would bring the essential comedy factor to the dinner. Bear would be able to regale us with his tales of the great outdoors and I could get him to give me some handy tips for my next camping trip and Marilyn Monroe, quite simply because she has always fascinated me and I’d like to hear what really happened between her and the Kennedys.
