Janet Heywood
Why did you join Home Truths?
I joined Home Truths because I enjoy working in a sales environment and have an interest in property. I wanted to be part of a team that is passionate about helping people and Home Truths, a family business really all do work as a team and enjoy what they do so for me I jumped at the opportunity because what can be more rewarding than being a helping hand for what can be one of the most stressful but exciting times.
What do you do at home Truths?
I am the Business Administrator so I am responsible for some of the admin work that goes on behind the scenes, sales progression and I may answer your call when you contact home truths to book in viewings, valuations or if you just need help looking for properties, I am always happy to assist.
Why should people come to Home Truths to sell or let their homes?
We are all passionate and experienced at what we do and will go above and beyond to help you sell your property and make it as much of a straightforward process as possible for you.
What do you love about living in the local area?
I have lived in the area all my life and I would say it has to be the beautiful Lancashire countryside and the locals are very friendly.
What do you do for fun?
I like to spend time with my family and friends, and I find it enjoyable going on long walks with my dog, cycling or learning the piano. I always like to get out to the theatre or watch a good comedian, but my most favourite thing is cosying up on the sofa and watching a good film with the family at the end of a day at work or sitting down with a good book with coffee and cake is always good!!!
What makes you smile at work?
It is always nice to see a customer coming in to collect their keys to move into their new home and working with the team is enjoyable especially when someone offers to put the kettle on and there is cake going around!!!
How do you describe to family and friends what you do?
I tell them how much I love my job as no day is the same it’s so varied and interesting meeting new people and helping them look for their new home.
Who would your three dream dinner guests be?
If I would pick three dream guests it would have to be Gino D Campo then he can help me in the kitchen, John Bishop so I can have a good laugh and then maybe Jim Brickman my favourite piano player who does not usually tour in the UK so that would be nice if he could play the piano for me. And I really need a 4Th to even out the numbers so I would pick one of my close friends to enjoy it with me.
