What makes you smile at work?

Few people can say that they enjoy going to work, but I can honestly say I do. The team are all genuine people who are committed to providing a great service to our customers. With the commitment that we all have and added to that, we all enjoy working together means that there is often banter and laughter as we go about our days. The odd evening glass of wine is always especially enjoyed!

Our customers; vendors, buyers, landlords and tenants add to my enjoyment. It is hard not to be happy when you have helped customers sell or rent out their homes, or helped them to find their perfect home. Handing over the keys to their new home is always so exciting.

What do you love about living in the local area?

I’m from East Lancashire originally, so I do miss the hills but then the bonuses of living with lovely open views with thriving village communities and better weather more than compensates. It could be said that walking the dogs is also a lot less strenuous than hill walking!

What do you do for fun?

Apart from work, I really enjoy spending time with my family. Shopping and concert trips with my daughter and model building with my son are times I really cherish. As a family, we love going out for walks with our three dogs. Early Sunday mornings on Ainsdale beach with bacon sandwiches and a flask of coffee is pure pleasure!

Wider family, friends and socialising are also high on my list. At home, at their homes, in restaurants or bars, I don’t mind where because the chance to chat the time away is all that matters.

Who would be your three dream dinner guests and why?

My dream dinner guests would be Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, and George Michael. Bridget Jones Diary is one of my all-time favourite films and the most memorable part is the fight scene in the street. So, I would love us all to enjoy a fabulous meal and the evening to be finished off with a huge fight between Hugh Grant and Coin Firth. However, this time the fight would be over me instead of Bridget Jones, oh and George Michael would be playing the backing track…perfect!
