So, encourage your friends and new.

Our winning Lord or Lady will receive their own Lord or Lady title pack containing a personalised, gold embossed, title certificate, a legal title deed, a title crest and within the beautiful ninety-acre historic Hougun Manor estate, by Coniston Water, within the Lake District National Park.

If I win the competition, what will I receive?

The title pack for our winner will contain a personalised title certificate (gold embossed), a legal title deed, 5 square feet of dedicated land presentation folder.

Will I be able to refer to myself as a Lord or Lady?

Yes, the title pack is based on a historic English Lord of the Manor title that supports the legal right to use the honorific title Lord or Lady. Within most legal jurisdictions, should you wish to change your honorific title to Lord or Lady (Lord or Lady of the Manor) then you can change this at any time, provided you do not intend to deceive or defraud another person or purport your title to be a peerage.

Can I use the crests?

Yes, you can. The title crest and-painted exclusively for title pack holders.

Can I visit the Estate?

Yes, you can visit whenever you want. The estate is a beautiful 90 acre stretch of land a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It is roughly four miles south of the village of Coniston, near the hamlet of Sunnybank.

Can I change my title on personal documents?

Yes, you can change your honorific title in most instances (this includes items such as stationery, tickets, reservations, membership cards, debit cards, credit cards, social media, employers, professional bodies etc). Please note, government documents which do not display any title such as all passports (and in some jurisdictions drivers licenses) cannot be updated.

**The winner of this competition must be aged 18 or over and would need to visit the Home Truths offices in Eccleston or Coppull to collect their prize. The winner will be notified that they are the competition winner via the Home Truths Facebook Page**
