After some wonderful entries and very tough competition, we are pleased to announce that we now have our photography competition winner!
Bernard Noblett from Euxton captured beautifully a picture of the village titled ‘Croston, a place to sit and the vibrancy of the colours of the floral display which made this photograph an easy winner!
For those of you that don’t know, we teamed up with parish councils to launch our photography competition; ‘Village Life’, in order to celebrate the beauty of our local villages by capturing the best that they have to offer.
We also asked for all images to be submitted with a caption that describes how the image illustrates village life and breathing in that lovely fresh air! Don’t you agree?!
Our Sales Manager, Catherine Byfield certainly did and to tell us why their picture, for them, captures Village Life.
“Bernard’s image is certainly a stunning one and the feeling in just a few words. Bernard is indeed a worthy winner.”
As part of the competition, we welcomed images of Coppull, Eccleston, Croston, Bretherton, Mawdesley, Heskin and Charnock Richard! This is the second year that we have run this competition, which you helped vote on in order to get our 20 shortlisted images to put in front of our judging panel so thank you for all your hard work too!
Our villages truly are the best!
